Executive Chef Ashley Thompson
Executive Chef Ashley Thompson has transformed dining at The Everly, helming beloved brunch cafe Jane Q and celebrating LA street food at the poolside bar. At Written Hand, she crafts craveable menus, bringing her deep ties to local farmers and farmers’ markets to bear as she crafts fresh, seasonal plates. Before joining the team at The Everly, Chef Thompson was the executive chef at Promontory Club in Park City, Utah, where she cooked for the James Beard Foundation and was featured in Dishing magazine. She was the exclusive private community’s first female executive chef. Born in Arkansas, she is entirely self-taught, and an expert on everything from pastry to butchering. A lover of Old Hollywood, she and her partner Jon are proud Los Angelenos, and can often be found hiking the hills, hunting through vintage shops, or soaking in the sun on the beach with their poodle, Nico.
